Co-founded by artist and designer Kathia Lagacé-Nadon, Anthology reflects her creative vision and philosophy. Kathia Lagacé-Nadon is a contemporary Canadian artist who specializes in mixed media and abstract/Neo-expressionism painting. Raised in an environment rich in cultural conversations, she developed a deep appreciation for art from an early age. Her work is characterized by a blend of textures and vibrant colors, often exploring themes of memory, emotion, and the passage of time. She is inspired by many authors and philosophers such as Adorno, Marcuse, Camus, Sartre, Beauvoir, Kundera, Steinbeck...
Kathia's artistic journey is also marked by her academic background, as she holds a Master's degree in Political Science. This academic experience influences her artwork, providing a unique depth and perspective to her pieces. She co-founded Anthology Creative Studio with her partner, where they create not only visual art but also integrate their work into interior design projects, known for their harmonious and warm aesthetics.
Her art has attracted collectors globally, with her works being showcased in cities like New York, London, and Tokyo. Kathia's pieces often feature a combination of oil, acrylic, and graphite on canvas, creating dynamic and thought-provoking compositions. Some of her notable series include "Voyage bucolique", ‘‘AAAA’’, ‘‘What matters’’, "Légèreté" and "Mon Jardin Déconstruit," each reflecting her intricate style and thematic explorations.
